How Can You Benefit from My 4 Days in the North Georgia Woods with 25 of My Favorite Internet Marketers
Last weekend, I attended the first Internet Success System Gold Member retreat in a beautiful North Georgia mountain setting. Because we're gold members, the only cost was expenses of the lodging. (Membership has its priviledges!)
Click here to see a picture album from the retreat in a new window!
I've been to three previous ISS seminars. They're excellent info-packed events unlike any other. Mark Hendricks, the founder and ringleader, started this several years ago with just a few members and a simple vision of being of service. Now, it's grown to hundreds.
The gold membership has become extended family of a couple of dozen marketers involved in different aspects of doing business online. And the really cool thing is that each of us are leveraging the other members' specializations.
For example, gold members:
Lori Steffen and Jeff Wark - the Dynamic Duo -
have mastered the art of repurposing content by identifying more than 200 ways (conservatively) of using the same content to drive more traffic and build more sites.
Bill Thomas is a Maryland roofing contractor who has managed to use Google Adwords to drive up the quality of his customers, weed out unprofitable customers, and increase his profits by nearly 300 percent. We learned exactly how he was doing it.
Dr. Ron Capps has quickly become the online expert on Web 2.0 by making sense of the hundreds of social bookmarking and social networking sites and using a variety of multimedia to drive traffic and relationships with his readers.
Cindy Dawson is quietly creating audio products by conducting interviews with experts in niche topic areas and charging top dollar for the results.
Marie Kane uses her substantial experience in corporate business planning and consulting to become an absolute master of survey strategies to discover a market's issues and opportunities. She's coming out with a product this fall that will help all marketers design and implement surveys that reveal answers to the right questions.
Chris Lockwood has built one of the best resell rights membership sites on the net using aMember and Joomla! Long an avid affiliate marketer, he's become our go-to guy on membership sites and giveaway events.
Laurence Hoyle uses the internet to expand his landscape design business far behind his local area to create designs in all across the southeast, while growing his business exponentially.
Ken and Beth Compton have turned their home inspection business into an online home inspection educational and resource membership site that is driving national growth. And now, they're branching out into other online streams of income as they identify new targets.
You benefit from this weekend because...
I could go on, because this is only a third of the people who attended the Gold Member retreat. The others are pursuing businesses just as diverse and interesting.
I'm fascinated by what these guys are doing. That's why I invited the folks above and several others to be interviewed for this community.
Over the next few weeks, I'll interview these folks about what they've learned, how they've stumbled and what was the key to making their businesses work. You won't want to miss it.
No one can work alone.
Mark Hendricks describes his ISS management philosophy like this:
"I just keep paddling..."
Huh? Explain please.
Mark is a believer in Divine Guidance. He believes his job is to paddle the boat down the river, not to steer. That's the Divine's job.
Oooo-WEEE-Oooo...
Okay, that sounds a little, uh...spiritual.
Maybe, but it shows up in Mark's presentation and business ventures as service. Sorry, that should have been capitalized...SERVICE!
Service to clients, service to customers, service to the internet community and service to the greater good.
That's why he gets people like Jack Humphrey, Terry Dean, Michael Penland, Marc Goldman and Alan R. Bechtold showing up at these conferences on their dime to teach...not pitch...about building businesses on the web.
I've attended to two other seminars prior to the ISS. The speakers whipped people into such a buying frenzy, that they nearly climbed over one another to throw credit cards at their assistants in the back of the room.
That doesn't happen in an ISS seminar. In fact, it's forbidden.
If you'd like a taste of the ISS family and resources, there's a free two-day seminar in Atlanta on Aug. 18-19. Click on the link to find out more.
At the Gold Retreat, we agreed that the Gold Members should present and screen prospective members for Mark. So if you're interested, call me. My number is 256.318.5202 - that's my cell. If you're a fit, you'll be invited to join.

Thanks, David.
I always appreciate your pearls of wisdom.
You really are hitting on what Napolean Hill described as the power of the Master Mind.
Sounds like you have found your Master Mind Group. There is much power and synergy in the group. Who knows, I just may see you at one of the ISS semiars.
Again, thanks, for your insights.

Yes I agree that a 'Master Mind Group' is very usefull to get New Insights or as a Good 'Feedback-loop', or as a possibility to have somebody else to have a Fresh look at what you are doing.
Recently I had a few people look at my site and their feedback has been very usefull, noticing things that I hardly noticed myself. It really helps to get focus and commitment.
I am looking forward to your Interviews.
All the Best,
HPvD.
