How are you measured?

Start now, drive unique clicks and on Dec 31st, we'll look at your stats and I'll issue a gift certificate based on the rewards guide below.

Unique clicks are measured in the affiliate program as well as impressions. Impressions don't count. I could go to your site 100 times and that would be 100 impressions. But it's only one unique click because my computer address (that's called an IP address) can only be registered once.

Gift certificates...How does this work?

Easy answer. Basically there are two scenarios...

1. Apply the certificate to one or more of my products. For example, you may want the Three4Ten.com lifetime membership. That's $197. Let's say that on December 31, you have 640 unique clicks to the 12 Days of Christmas event. That means you have a gift certificate credit of $60. Your cost for the Lifetime Membership will be $137.

1. Apply your certificate to a ClickBank purchase. And suppose there was a hot new product on ClickBank that you just had to have and it costs $147. And let's assume I'm not promoting it yet. You can send me a note asking me to sell it to you. I'll create a link, send it to you, you buy through my link, and I send you the $60 making your cost $87. (The only restriction here is that the commission rate must be at least 50% -- otherwise I'm losing money fast.)

Okay, you're intrigued, but you're wondering why on Earth I'm going to all this trouble and expense...

New Year's Resolutions — Our Way!
On Dec. 31 each year, my wife and I sit in front of the fireplace, sparkling cider in our mugs, and we celebrate the accomplishment of many of our goals and intentions of the previous year.

And then, we read a list of new intentions and goals for the following year. When we're done, we fold the paper in half and put it in our daily devotional books where it lay until we pull it out at the end of the following year.

Next, we say a prayer of gratitude and release our intentions ending with, "If it is your will God, this or something better."

Often, our goals don't come to pass, but always "this or something better" does, even if we don't see it at the time.

This year, I've got a few goals and intentions that affect you. So, I'm letting you in on it.

1. I'm launching the commercial version of The 60-Day Experiment. I plan for the income from this, the resulting products and affiliate programs to free us from all debt by the June of 2006.
2. Bad Dad: 10 Keys to Regaining Trust will become a profitable movement to improve the parenting skills of challenged parents all over the world. We'll build audio courses and interviews with experts to create value for schools, churches, parenting groups and individuals. I sincerely believe that World Peace can be achieved one child at a time by creating a new generation of peaceful, kind, secure, and fearless children.
3. Blogs — ugh — this year they've been a curse, and a catalyst. It all started with World Wanting Peace. I neglected it way too long. I plan to renew my fervor for writing and maintaining my blogs — World Wanting Peace and The 60-Day Experiment — as the direct communication with the online world.
4. Support my wife in whatever bliss she turns to, whether that's more classical music performance, teaching workshops, building an antiques business, or anything else not yet revealed. In her 50th year, she deserves all the happiness, security and adventure she can accept.
5. We'll have new Harley-Davidsons by June — we've already picked them out.
6. I'll make a difference in as many lives as I can this year by any medium possible, whether that's conducting workshops, writing more books, or encountering people on a one-on-one basis, I have to remember it's all about others, and I'm of service.
7. I'll accept help in any form, as long as it moves my goals and my spiritual growth forward. And I pray for the knowledge to discern which opportunities are the right ones.

In 2005, I've followed my heart, even though I was dragged sometimes kicking and screaming. I took a one-year contract as a customer relationship manager with a consulting company for a major client of mine. I did it reluctantly because it meant traveling and being away from home and my wife at least three days each week.

But on those four-hour commutes to the office, I listened to Internet Marketing leaders talk about building an online business, and now I have two.

Occasionally, on those four-hour drives, I turned off all the sounds and did what our minister calls Zen Driving. I listened to the spirit and saw clear pictures of the way I want things to be. I made notes of the steps that I needed to perform to get there. I built marketing plans and saw visions of success.

While away from home, I sat in Starbucks in the evening and wrote my first book, Bad Dad: 10 Keys to Regaining Trust and created my first online business The 60-Day Experiment.

I honed relationship and marketing skills working for my new client that I didn't know I had.

God, Universal Intelligence or Higher Power — whatever you call the spirit — knew what I needed even when I didn't. I just needed to listen, follow and do.

That's a great plan for 2006, too. Much success, prosperity and happiness to you and yours as well.

What is a 60-Day Experiment?
It's a dream that's quickly becoming reality.

Our goal, as a group, is to create a new life and new sources of income to leave the demands of the daily world to those less ambitious. On June 1, 2005, the first 60-Day live experiment began. With more than 500 people enrolled to participate, they will follow along or build a site as I do the same, learning the intricacies of targeting, marketing and making a product to sell online.

This is not an Internet Marketing Course, but a hands-on, live 60-Day Experiment to produce results.

The goal is huge. At the end of the 60 days, I want to realize an annualized income of $10,000 per month through online sales. That's more than $120,000 in the first year.

That's ambitious! And frankly, who knows if we will make it. But that's why it's an experiment. The key to making a good living on the Internet is to be diversified.
